Buck Mulligan's - Düsseldorf

Its a big place and there are lots of screens so its a good place to watch footie if thats your thing. They do food occasionally but if they aren't doing the night you are there you are encoraged to go out and get a take away. I found it quite pleasant.

Best Irish Pub in Düsseldorf ! All football games shown on large screens or plasma. Friendly staff, pool, darts (electronic and standard), Karoake on Fridays and Saturdays.

If you want any kind of decent wine selection, beer that isn't Guinness, go somewhere else. I you don't want to the "Brighton on the Costa" atmosphere, go somewhere else. If you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the country in which you are living and working, go somewhere else. Otherwise, it's fine.

Expat-wannabe should realise that the "Brighton on the Costa" atmosphere is actually the Düsseldorf old town buzz. If people want quiet and refined then I would suggest a blanket and flask with nothing stronger than tea and sit in the park. This is by far the best irish pub !

Sorry, went in there once to meet some colleagues and we were all disappointed. I'm sure it's a matter of taste though and will leave you to enjoy in peace.
