Hi there,

I would like to buy a dress form for my sewing projects but have no clue what it is called in german. Is anyone of you out there a Sewing goddess/god? I would really appreciate your help! happy.gif
And it would be fantastic if you could tell me where I can get hold of one at a good price.

Thanks
Kim
Fallen Angel
It's called a Schneiderpuppe (if you're talking about what I think you're talking about--- that maniquin type thing, right?).

Edit: Here's a website dedicate to them.

In german is called: Schaufensterpuppe.

You could probably find one at a second hand shop, like Weisser Rabe, they have 3 shops in München:

GebrauchtWarenHaus Sendling, Bavariastraße 30-36, Tel.: 089 / 74 74 68 - 0

GebrauchtWarenHaus Pasing, Landsberger Straße 444, Tel.: 089 / 889 493 - 0

GebrauchtWarenHaus Neuperlach, Marieluise-Fleißer-Bogen 9, Tel.: 089 / 490 534 - 03

Good luck!
