"Anhörung" for an employee and German labor law

Advice on attending a disciplinary hearing

Hello all,

I have been asked to attend an "Anhörung" (a disciplinary hearing?) with my boss and a member of the HR department of my company next week.

The reason: an alleged conflict of interests on my part. sad.gif

Has anyone else ever experienced the same situation in Germany, or can anyone recommend a lawyer specialized in labor law?

Before you ask, my company does not have a Betriebsrat (works council)... sad.gif

Any help or advice appreciated as this is a complete disaster for me...

Thank you,

Hi Mik,

thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated.

As it happens, the Anhörung is now over with no further action to be taken on the part of my employer.
It became embarassingly clear during the course of the meeting that the whole thing was horse-manure. rolleyes.gif

Thanks either way, and good luck to you for your case,
