Should a rental contract on a house specifically call out agreement that our children and dog will be living there with us. We received the contract on a house we are looking to rent and this was not included in the addendum while other items (kitchen, interior painting, and yard/snow maintenance) were. I'd appreciate any perspective as we are relocating to Germany after the new year and don't have experience with German rental agreements.
Thanks.

The contract should expressily mention that you are allowed to keep a dog. There's no need to mention the children, it's your legal right to have as many children as you wish/can afford ;-) No landlord can complain about children. The only thing he can do is, when you move out again, oblige you to repair any damages they caused.

Thanks. Seemed as much but wanted to make sure I wasn't applying my American perspective inappropriately.
